At Rise Business Partners, we understand the challenges young job seekers face in today's competitive job market. 

In 2024, employers reported that new graduates faced issues like poor eye contact, unrealistic salary demands, unsuitable dress, improper language, reluctance to appear on camera, and excessive parental involvement.

These struggles, paired with social anxieties, inspired us to tackle these issues directly and build a generation of capable, ready-to-work professionals.

Our Story

Founded by Johanna Nistal, Rise Business Partners was born from a passion for helping high school students transition into the workforce.

Johanna saw firsthand the disconnect between academic knowledge and real-world job readiness, as she watched young individuals struggle to navigate the professional world despite their academic achievements.

Determined to make a difference, Johanna used her deep understanding of these struggles, and her over 20 years of Learning and Development experience in corporate America, to create a program that prepares high school students for the demands of today's job market.

We designed Level One and Level Two Workshops to address key areas such as professional conduct, setting realistic expectations, and fostering independence.

Level One Workshop:

For students new to the workforce, focusing on basic skills and job readiness, this workshop guides students through basic professional skills, including resume creation, interview techniques, and hands-on training for entry-level positions in retail and food service.

Level Two Workshop:

For students with some work experience, this workshop focuses on advanced skills and strategic placements, preparing them for specialized roles.

One-on-One Mentoring:

Our mentorship service supports students with specific challenges, such as overcoming anxiety or preparing for a key interview.  This service provides personalized guidance to help students build confidence, and develop their professional skills.
